QR Code Content

The text or links you enter to generate a QR code are processed directly in your browser. We do not store, log, or have access to the content you turn into a QR code.


Account Information

If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password through Firebase Authentication (a service provided by Google) to let you log in. We do not sell or share this information with third parties for marketing purposes.


Cookies and Blogger

QRSnap is hosted on Blogger, a service provided by Google. Blogger and Google may use cookies for basic site functionality and, in some cases, analytics. This is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy.


Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to run QRSnap:


  • Google Fonts to load the fonts used on this site
  • Firebase (Google) to handle account login and registration
  • cdnjs to load the QR code generation library
Each of these services may collect standard technical data (like your IP address) as part of delivering their service.

Advertising

QRSnap does not currently run third-party advertising. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.

Children's Privacy

QRSnap is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Do these QR codes expire?

No. Codes generated here are static. The data is encoded directly into the pattern, so it never expires and works offline once scanned.

Will adding a logo stop it from scanning?

Not if you keep the logo small and use High error correction (the default when a logo is added). This lets the code stay readable even with part of it covered.

Can I use this for a business or client project?

Yes. Codes generated here are free to use for personal and commercial purposes, with no attribution required.
